This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) governs subscription cancellations, free trials, and refunds for the Praedium Insights LLC (“Praedium,” “we,” “us”) cloud-based real estate software platform (the “Services”). This Policy applies to all customers, including individual agents and brokerages, unless otherwise stated in a written Brokerage Addendum. This Policy is incorporated by reference into Praedium’s Software as a Service Subscription Agreement (“SaaS Agreement”).
1.Subscription Billing Model
Praedium provides the Services on a subscription basis, billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the selected plan).
By subscribing, Customer authorizes Praedium to charge the applicable subscription fees in accordance with the selected billing cycle.
2.Free Trials
Praedium may offer free trial access to the Services at its discretion.
- Free trials are provided solely for evaluation purposes
- Unless otherwise stated, no payment method is required during the free trial
- Free trial accounts that are not converted to a paid subscription may lose access to the Services at the end of the trial period
- Data entered during a free trial may be deleted if the account is not converted
Praedium makes no guarantees regarding data retention following expiration of a free trial.
3.Cancellation Policy
3.1 How to Cancel
Customers may cancel their subscription by:
- Contacting our billing team at billing@praediuminsights.com, or
- Submitting a written cancellation request to Praedium support
Cancellations must be completed before the end of the current billing cycle to avoid renewal.
3.2 Effective Date of Cancellation
- Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
- Access to the Services will continue through the remainder of the paid term
- No mid-cycle cancellations are permitted
4.No Prorated Refunds
Praedium does not offer prorated refunds for:
- Partial billing periods
- Unused time
- Downgrades
- Early termination
- Reduced usage
- Suspension due to non-payment or policy violations
This policy applies equally to individual agents and brokerage accounts.
5.Refund Policy
5.1 General Rule
5.2 Limited Refund Exceptions
Praedium may, in its sole discretion, issue a refund in the following limited circumstances:
- Duplicate or erroneous billing
- Payment processing errors attributable to Praedium
- Service unavailability caused by Praedium for an extended and material period
Refunds will not be issued for:
- MLS data delays, inaccuracies, or outages
- Third-party service interruptions
- Regulatory, MLS, or compliance-related access restrictions
- Customer misuse or failure to comply with MLS rules
- Dissatisfaction with business outcomes or analytics results
6.Brokerage Accounts
For brokerage customers:
- Subscription fees apply at the brokerage account level
- Cancellation applies to the entire brokerage account
- Authorized Users under the brokerage account are not entitled to individual refunds
Any negotiated refund or termination terms must be set forth in a written Brokerage Addendum executed by Praedium.
7.MLS & Regulatory Considerations
Access to MLS-licensed data (provided through MLS Grid and Repliers) is subject to:
- MLS rules
- Data license agreements
- Regulatory requirements
Praedium does not provide refunds for loss of access caused by:
- MLS rule changes
- Participant or subscriber eligibility issues
- License suspension or termination by an MLS or data provider
8.Data After Cancellation
Upon cancellation:
- Customer access will terminate at the end of the billing period
- Customer Data may be retained for a reasonable period
- Data may be deleted or anonymized in accordance with Praedium’s data retention policies
Customers are responsible for exporting any desired data prior to termination. At present, the platform supports exporting your contacts as a CSV file; a full export of all account data is not yet available, so please contact support if you need additional data before your account closes.
9.Policy Updates
Praedium may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Services or via reasonable notice. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
